About The Position

Our new 120k sf state of the art facility in Exeter, New Hampshire is fully operational and will raise the bar in high precision manufacturing - come and join us! The Hardware/Assembler will be responsible for the assembly of machined components and installations of hardware into aluminum chassis and cold plates for the Aerospace and Defense industries. This is a critical role within the Assembly team and requires a detailed mind set. This role reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Ability to read internal drawings and use basic measuring equipment.
  • Fine attention to detail.
  • Commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Autobody finishing experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with using non-electric hand tools preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strive towards a culture of proactive safety.
  • 100% inspects work pieces for cosmetic appearance and obvious non-conformities.
  • Installation of various components of hardware per specifications or direction from manager.
  • Follow Job Travelers for specific routing steps to be performed. Logging activity in ERP system for time and piece count tracking requirements.
  • Maintain traceability of parts and work orders as parts move through finishing.
  • Cleans work areas, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe work area as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
