About The Position

This position is responsible for processing apparel for the sales floor. Key duties include ensuring a clean and organized work area, categorizing and preparing apparel for display, assisting with quality control, and maintaining accurate production documentation. The role also involves transporting processed apparel to the sales floor, assisting with merchandise rotation, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain a clean, neat, safe, and organized work area.
  • Ability to categorize apparel accurately (sizing, type, colorization).
  • Ability to tag and size apparel.
  • Ability to perform quality control checks for defects.
  • Ability to maintain accurate production documentation.
  • Ability to transport racks of apparel.
  • Ability to maintain an accurate hang count of 100+ pieces per hour.
  • Adherence to all GGC and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Follow good safety and security practices.
  • Report safety hazards and injuries.
  • Perform duties within the framework of Guiding Principles.
  • Attend assigned training.

Responsibilities

  • Keep work area clean, neat, safe and organized.
  • Categorize apparel by appropriate processing (sizing, type, and colorization on rack).
  • Place all salable apparel in the hang area of the sort table, tag and/or size apparel, and hang apparel onto racks.
  • Assist with quality control assurance (checking for tears, stains, broken zippers, buttons).
  • Complete accurate production documentation.
  • Transport racks of hung apparel to sales floor.
  • Assist with apparel rotation and dressing room checks as directed/needed.
  • Maintain accurate hang count with the goal of 100+ pieces hung/hour.
  • Keep processing area and work output in a neat and clean condition at all times.
  • Adhere to all GGC and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Follow good safety and security practices, including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the Team Leader Coach or ATL.
  • Perform assigned duties within the framework of our Guiding Principles.
  • May be asked to participate in activities outside of Goodwill.
  • Attend in-service related training as assigned by Team Leader Coach.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader Coach.
