About The Position

This role involves properly placing feet of turkey into shackles on a moving line, with birds ranging from 8 to 30 pounds. You will push a button to control the number of birds that fall into the belt and remove birds with missing parts from the line, placing them into a barrel. The position requires helping to ensure only safe, wholesome, quality products are produced for our customers by following all good manufacturing practices and performing position-specific duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

• Birds can be from 8 pounds to 30 pounds.
• Work 8- to 10-hour shifts on concrete floors.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 32 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Perform repetitive motions such as twisting, turning, bending and reaching.
• Lift items up to 35 pounds.
• Wear a hair net, hard hat, ear protection, safety glasses, boots and/or other personal protective equipment.
• Work with large groups of people as a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
