About The Position

This position is for someone who has mechanical and handyperson skills. Job specifications are as follows: Basic to advanced knowledge and the ability to repair, maintain and troubleshoot: Flooring, Carpeting, Painting, Plastering, Drywall, Wall coverings, Appliances, Windows, Doors, Electrical, Domestic water plumbing, Sewage plumbing, Gas plumbing, Boilers, HVAC (refrigerant evacuation, recovery and charging inclusive of brazing). This position will also require the capability to perform front of house contractor/tenant liaison meetings and/or discussions regarding the above outlined topics to best serve the tenants of a high-end residential community. A detailed scope-of-work will be discussed during the interview process. The requirements and duties described above may be modified or waived by the Company in its sole discretion without notice.

Requirements

• EPA certification for refrigerant handling/recovery - Type 1 and 2.
• FDNY G-60 (Torch Use) certification (must be obtained within a timely manner).
• FDNY F-60 (Fire Guard for Torch Use) certification (must be obtained within a timely manner).

Nice To Haves

• EPA Universal certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot flooring, carpeting, painting, plastering, drywall, and wall coverings.
• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot appliances, windows, and doors.
• Perform electrical repairs and maintenance.
• Handle domestic water plumbing, sewage plumbing, and gas plumbing.
• Maintain boilers and HVAC systems, including refrigerant evacuation, recovery, and charging, and brazing.
• Perform front of house contractor/tenant liaison meetings and discussions.
