About The Position
This position is for someone who has mechanical and Handyperson skills. The role involves basic to advanced knowledge and the ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot various aspects of a building, including flooring, carpeting, painting, plastering, drywall, wall coverings, appliances, windows, doors, electrical systems, and plumbing (domestic water, sewage, and gas). It also includes working with boilers. Additionally, the position requires the capability to perform front-of-house contractor/tenant liaison meetings and discussions regarding these topics to best serve the building's tenants. The requirements and duties may be modified or waived by the Company at its sole discretion without notice. Requirements
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot flooring.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot carpeting.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot painting.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot plastering.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot drywall.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot wall coverings.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot appliances.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot windows.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot doors.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot domestic water plumbing.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot sewage plumbing.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot gas plumbing.
- Basic to advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot boilers.
- Capability to perform front of house contractor/tenant liaison meetings and/or discussions.
Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot flooring, carpeting, painting, plastering, drywall, wall coverings, appliances, windows, doors, electrical systems, domestic water plumbing, sewage plumbing, gas plumbing, and boilers.
- Perform front-of-house contractor/tenant liaison meetings and discussions regarding building maintenance and repair topics.
- Serve the building's tenants by addressing their needs related to the outlined topics.
