About The Position
TruBlue of North Idaho is a home services company dedicated to providing value and peace-of-mind to our customers. Our mission is to be the most professional property improvement service available, providing routine maintenance, repairs, and general upgrades for our clientele. This role serves as an assistant to the Field Technician/Tradesman, learning different trades throughout, opening the opportunity for promotion to Field Technician.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience in the trades industry.
- Aspires to grow professionally.
- Willing to dedicate the hours needed to complete the job above satisfaction.
- Physically and mentally capable of handyperson duties.
- Valid driver's license and current car insurance.
- Reliable transportation, preferably a truck in condition.
- Own your own tools and know how to use them.
- Treat people with respect and expect the same in return.
- Strong work ethic and take pride in your work.
- Passionate about what you do and enjoy helping people.

Responsibilities
- Serve as an assistant to the Field Technician/Tradesman.
- Learn different trades.
- Perform minor carpentry, including trim and door repairs and trim installation.
- Perform minor fixture repairs, including minor electrical and plumbing.
- Perform painting.
- Perform exterior siding repairs.
- Build or repair fences and decks.
- Win customers' confidence and provide additional value by offering a checklist of other repairs and services.
- Interact with customers.
