About The Position
TruBlue of East Wake & Northern Johnston County is a new locally owned franchise serving homeowners throughout Wake and Johnston Counties. We provide professional handyman services, home maintenance, home safety modifications, and repair solutions that help seniors age safely in place while supporting busy families throughout our community. We are looking for a dependable Home Service Technician who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality workmanship, and values treating customers with respect. This position is ideal for a skilled handyman or home repair professional looking for steady work, regular hours, and the opportunity to grow with a company that is building a reputation for excellence from the ground up.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of paid handyman, home repair, maintenance, remodeling, or construction experience
- Experience with multiple residential trades
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and complete projects efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Comfortable working in occupied homes, including homes of seniors and vulnerable adults
- Must provide and maintain personal hand tools

Responsibilities
- Perform residential repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects
- Complete work involving drywall repair, painting, flooring, doors, trim, and general carpentry
- Perform minor plumbing and minor electrical repairs
- Assist with home safety modifications and accessibility improvements
- Diagnose problems and provide practical solutions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the TruBlue brand
