About The Position

Hunters Humbug Inc., operating as Brabo Home Services, is seeking a skilled and versatile Handyman / Home Maintenance Technician to perform residential maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects across Northern Colorado, from Fort Collins to Broomfield and surrounding areas. The role involves varied work, and the ideal candidate has experience across multiple trades, can work independently, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is adaptable and willing to learn. Compensation is $25.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience, skill level, and work performed. Performance-based incentives and additional commissions may be available. The position is listed as full-time or part-time.

Requirements

Previous experience in handyman services, residential maintenance, remodeling, construction, or a related trade is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of basic carpentry, drywall repair, painting, fixture installation, and general home maintenance.
Ability to diagnose common household problems and determine effective repair solutions.
Comfort working independently, managing assigned projects, and completing work without constant supervision.
Strong communication skills, professionalism, and respect for customers and their properties.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, use hand and power tools, and perform physical work indoors and outdoors.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel between job sites.
Ability to use a smartphone or mobile application to review assignments, document work, and communicate with the team.
Willingness to learn new skills, take on varied projects, and assist with other company services when needed.

Nice To Haves

Additional experience with plumbing, electrical, flooring, roofing, deck construction, or remodeling.

Responsibilities

Perform common household repairs such as drywall patching, minor carpentry, door and hardware repairs, and caulking.
Install shelving, fixtures, trim, cabinetry, blinds, ceiling fans, and other household improvements within applicable licensing requirements.
Perform gutter cleaning, fence and deck repairs, siding repairs, pressure washing, and general exterior upkeep.
Complete interior and exterior touch-up painting, drywall finishing, staining, and minor cosmetic repairs.
Inspect and maintain residential property components to help prevent larger repairs.
Diagnose problems, recommend practical solutions, and communicate necessary repairs or additional work.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, explain completed work, and provide a positive customer experience.
Follow safety practices, maintain clean job sites, and ensure work meets company quality standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and company vehicles.
Document completed work, materials used, and additional issues identified using company-provided software.
Assist with other company services and take on a variety of projects as needed.
