About The Position

Ace Handyman Services of the Baltimore Metro is seeking multi-skilled Carpenters with expertise in multiple trades. Since 2004, we have provided homes and businesses throughout the Baltimore Metro with quality craftsmanship for all of their repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects – both large and small – inside and outside. We are currently seeking highly motivated professional Carpenters with skills in multiple trades. This is a W2 position that allows the flexibility of an independent job, where we find and schedule the jobs for you, and you provide the quality craftsmanship and customer service that our clients have come to expect. You will work out of your home on your choice of a full time or part-time basis, using your own truck or van to travel to job sites in Baltimore and nearby areas.

Requirements

Strong work ethic
Professional appearance and demeanor
Good overall knowledge of multiple trades (Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, Drywalling, minor Plumbing and Electrical)
Excellent customer service skills
Solid communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing
Own standard set of tools to perform all trades
Own truck or van
Current and valid driver’s license
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong documentation and invoicing skills
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Prior home inspection experience

Responsibilities

Provide quality craftsmanship and customer service
Travel to job sites in Baltimore and nearby areas
Perform carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling, minor electrical, and minor plumbing tasks
Interact with clients, fellow employees, management, and office personnel
Troubleshoot, analyze, and solve problems
Document and invoice work performed
