About The Position

A Team Home Services is seeking a motivated Handyman Apprentice to join our team! This position is ideal for someone with basic experience in home repairs and maintenance who wants to grow their skills in a variety of residential service trades. The ideal candidate is reliable, eager to learn, customer-focused, and comfortable assisting with maintenance, repair, and installation tasks in occupied residential homes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
• Pass a background and drug screening (required)
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift at least 55 lbs

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years’ experience in maintenance, handyman work, construction, or related trades (preferred)
• OSHA 10 – Construction Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and repair tasks in residential homes
• Support repairs involving plumbing fixtures, doors, windows, drywall, trim, and appliances
• Help diagnose and address minor home repair issues
• Install fixtures, hardware, appliances, shelving, and other household components
• Perform minor drywall repairs, painting, and touch-up work
• Assist with troubleshooting and completing basic maintenance requests
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces and job sites
• Follow safety procedures and company standards on all jobs
• Keep tools and equipment maintained and organized
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
