About The Position

At Mr. Handyman of Hendersonville, we're looking for a skilled Handyman Technician who takes pride in their work — someone who can walk into a home, assess the situation, and deliver results the customer brags about to their neighbors. This isn't a big-box crew job where you're doing the same thing every day on a job site. You're working independently, solving a wide variety of problems — drywall, carpentry, door and window repairs, tile, minor plumbing, deck repairs, and more — and you're the face of our brand every time you pull that company van into a driveway. Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience in residential repairs, remodeling, or carpentry
A valid driver's license and clean driving record
Strong communication skills — you can talk to a homeowner just as well as you swing a hammer
Self-motivated with the ability to manage your day independently
Background check required — we hire people our customers can trust in their homes

Responsibilities

Complete small to medium repair, remodeling, and home improvement projects across residential and light commercial properties
Communicate clearly with customers about scope of work, timelines, and pricing — and build the kind of trust that earns 5-star reviews
Manage your route, materials, and vehicle professionally
Complete invoices and job documentation through our system (we keep the paperwork simple)
