About The Position

Covenant LLC is hiring a Hands-On Residential Construction Supervisor to oversee high-end custom home and renovation projects throughout Essex County and the Greater Boston area. This role is built for an experienced residential construction professional with strong carpentry skills, field leadership experience, and the ability to keep projects moving while maintaining quality, safety, and clear communication. You will lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, support client relationships, and stay active in the work when needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience
  • Previous supervisory or field leadership experience
  • Strong carpentry skills from framing through finish work
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and manage project details
  • Experience coordinating crews, subcontractors, inspections, and job site logistics
  • Familiarity with Massachusetts building codes and residential inspection processes
  • Clear, respectful communication with clients, trades, architects, and coworkers
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Safety-conscious mindset and commitment to clean, professional job sites
  • Humble, steady leadership style with a team-first approach
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise high-end residential construction and renovation projects in the field
  • Lead a crew of up to six employees on custom home job sites
  • Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, materials, and daily project needs
  • Perform hands-on carpentry work when needed, including framing and finish tasks
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project details
  • Maintain clean, safe, organized, and professional job sites
  • Communicate clearly with clients, architects, inspectors, subcontractors, and team members
  • Keep work moving across trades while protecting quality and schedule expectations
  • Identify field issues early and help solve problems practically
  • Lead by example through craftsmanship, professionalism, and care
  • Uphold Covenant's standards for safety, communication, workmanship, and client experience
