About The Position

Mast Roofing & Construction is seeking a full-time Hands-On Construction Foreman for the Berks County, PA area. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, accurately, and to company quality standards. The position involves leading, organizing, troubleshooting, and working hands-on with a crew. Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in residential construction
Ability to read plans, blueprints, scopes of work, and material specifications
Ability to measure doors and windows with great accuracy
Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
Physically capable of lifting, climbing, stretching, and performing hands-on construction tasks
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Willingness to jump in and do hands-on work when needed

Nice To Haves

1 year crew leadership experience preferred
Working knowledge of OSHA and jobsite safety standards preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure safety leadership and maintain OSHA compliance.
Prevent delays, maintain quality standards, control job costs, and ensure projects stay on schedule.
Communicate technical information in layman's terms.
Coach and mentor team members.
Make practical decisions in the field under pressure.
Produce accurate, high-quality work within deadlines and budgets.
Lead by example and hold yourself accountable to high standards.
Do hands-on work when needed.
