Southern Staircase, part of Edge Building Solutions, is looking for an experienced Handrail Installer to join their growing team in Lakeland. This is an opportunity for individuals with a background in handrail installation, trim carpentry, or finish carpentry to work on custom, high-end staircase and handrail projects. The company collaborates with professional builders and developers to design, build, and install premium stair and handrail systems, seeking individuals who take pride in quality work.

Requirements

Experience with handrail installation, trim carpentry, or finish carpentry
Strong woodworking and construction skills
Ability to accurately measure and apply basic geometry
Comfortable working with different materials and tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be 21 years of age or older
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Comfortable working in different weather and job-site conditions
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Installing and completing custom handrail systems while maintaining Southern Staircase quality and safety standards.
Installing custom and high-end handrail systems.
Working with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, glass, and cable.
Following installation standards and applicable local building codes.
Coordinating parts, materials, and deliveries to job sites.
Communicating with project managers regarding job progress and timelines.
Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe.
Delivering quality workmanship and maintaining a professional customer experience.
