About The Position

The Handles & Medallions Applier is responsible for applying handles and medallions to mugs according to specific work orders and quality standards. This role involves initial quality checks, efficient retrieval of materials, precise application of handles and medallions, final quality checks, workstation maintenance, and accurate data entry of production information.

Requirements

Entry-level position
Must have hand and eye coordination
Accuracy and attention to detail required
Must be able to enter daily production information into the computer

Nice To Haves

Prior experience is a plus
High school diploma or GED is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform initial quality checks on work orders, confirming mug style, quantity, and quality, and alerting the Lead of any concerns or special instructions.
Retrieve and apply correct handles to mugs following standard work procedures and quality specifications, meeting daily handle applying goals.
Retrieve mugs and medallions, and apply medallions to mugs following standard work procedures and quality specifications.
Stamp the bottom of the mug with company information and clean mugs as necessary.
Meet daily Medallion application goals.
Review work orders and double-check the accuracy of handle and medallion application, notifying the Lead if quality standards are not met.
Accurately enter completed work orders and daily production information into File Maker.
Deliver completed work to the designated damp box or medallion applier with work orders attached.
Maintain an organized and clean workstation, disposing of waste properly.
