About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a Handbag / Soft Accessories Designer in New York, NY. The designer will be supporting the THNA Accessories team, working on Handbags and Soft Accessories (socks, hats, scarves, cold weather accessories) for Outlet and Off-Price. The ideal candidate will be a team player, detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and possess the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. The role requires presence in the NYC office Monday-Thursday, with WFH on Fridays, but flexibility to come in if necessary.

Requirements

• 3-4 years fashion design experience. Accessories preferred, open to Apparel.
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Fashion Design
• Must have design experience and an inherent understanding of the design process
• Must have proficient knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Web PLM (Centric PLM preferred)
• Strong organization, communication and time-management skills
• Works both collaboratively and independently environment.

Responsibilities

• Adobe Illustrator sketches and color ups
• Pitch/Scale artwork for soft accessories
• Update previous styles/technical specs for new season
• Make cad/art updates for proto samples and make sample comments in PLM.
• BOM updates in PLM considerations.
