About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a Handbag / Soft Accessories Designer in New York, NY. This role supports the THNA Accessories team, focusing on Handbags and Soft Accessories (socks, hats, scarves, cold weather accessories) for Outlet and Off-Price channels. The ideal candidate is a team player, detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. The work location is 285 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10017. The work schedule is in the NYC office Monday-Thursday, with remote work on Fridays, but flexibility to come in if necessary is required.

Requirements

• 3-4 years fashion design experience. Accessories preferred, open to Apparel.
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Fashion Design
• Must have design experience and an inherent understanding of the design process
• Must have proficient knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Web PLM (Centric PLM preferred)
• Strong organization, communication and time-management skills
• Works both collaboratively and independently environment.

Responsibilities

• Adobe Illustrator sketches and color ups
• Pitch/Scale artwork for soft accessories
• Update previous styles/technical specs for new season
• Make cad/art updates for proto samples and make sample comments in PLM
• BOM updates in PLM considerations
