About The Position

We are seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist – Hand Therapy Specialist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide specialized therapy services focused on the evaluation and treatment of upper extremity conditions, including post-surgical care, injury recovery, and functional restoration. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in hand therapy and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. As a per diem team member, you’ll enjoy flexible scheduling while working in a collaborative environment that values clinical expertise and professional growth. This position is perfect for a PT who is passionate about helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life through evidence-based hand therapy interventions.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program OR graduate of an accredited physical therapy program that can be demonstrated with a valid PT license
  • PT-Physical Therapist OR approved license applicant or resident training program employee.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • Department: Home Health, DL-Valid Drivers License
  • Department: Home Health, AUTO-Automobile Insurance
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
  • Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
  • Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
  • Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.
  • Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
  • Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential strongly preferred.
  • Substantial hand therapy experience, particularly in custom splint fabrication and management, are encouraged to apply.
