About The Position

We are seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapy to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide specialized therapy services focused on the evaluation and treatment of upper extremity conditions, including post-surgical care, injury recovery, and functional restoration. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in hand therapy and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. As a per diem team member, you’ll enjoy flexible scheduling while working in a collaborative environment that values clinical expertise and professional growth. This position is perfect for an OT who is passionate about helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life through evidence-based hand therapy interventions.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited occupational therapy program.
  • OT-Occupational Therapist
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Auto Insurance
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
  • Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
  • Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
  • Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.
  • Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
  • Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential strongly preferred.
  • Substantial hand therapy experience, particularly in custom splint fabrication and management, are encouraged to apply.
