Hand Surgeon Independent 1099
About The Position
Concentra, a large healthcare company, is seeking a Hand Surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor. This role is designed to complement an existing practice, involving on-site patient treatment for approximately 4-hour shifts on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The Hand Surgeon will assist in managing complex medical cases, facilitating return to work, and promoting functional restoration. This involves providing specialist services, both non-surgical and surgical, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. Collaboration with medical and therapy providers, communication with employers, and active participation in case management are key aspects of this role. The treatments provided will significantly impact patients' lives.
Requirements
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hand Surgery
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site

- Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries
