About The Position

Terzo Enterprises is a logistics company focused on the repair, refurbishment, and re-manufacturing of pallets. The Hand Sorter is responsible for inspecting and separating pallets into different grades and placing them in the appropriate area ready to be picked up by the forklift. This role must meet Terzo Enterprises' standards for safety, security, and productivity, while adhering to quality criteria.

Requirements

Must be 18+ years old
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.

Nice To Haves

Basic tool knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

Comply with all safety procedures at all times while performing job duties using Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Inspect pallets at a rate that meets company and safety standards safely and securely.
Manually inspect pallets and determine the level of repair needed.
Visually inspect and place pallets in the appropriate stack for the next step in the process.
Remove any loose splintered wood, debris, nails, or components that do not meet repair criteria.
Ensure each product meets all necessary specifications before it is sent to customers.
Ensure proper inspection and separation of pallets are met, while achieving company expectations.
Ensure pallets meet required specifications and do not have any protruding or missing nails.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Restock building supplies, clean the pallet repair area, and perform other duties as required at the end of the shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
