The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to maintain and showcase Hallmark products, build relationships with retailer teams, and represent Hallmark. The role includes restocking and organizing products, monitoring inventory and displays, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work and communication, and supporting seasonal resets, installations, and other team members as needed. Merchandisers may occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores they service. This is a part-time role averaging 12–15 hours per week, with a variable schedule during the work week. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around major holidays and for seasonal changeovers, installations, extended services, and inventory support. Some holiday or weekend work may be required. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may include evening or weekend work. Starting pay is $13.50–$15.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training includes live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It is physically demanding and requires frequent movement and handling of merchandise and fixtures. Employment is contingent on signing the required employment and arbitration agreements, completing Form I-9, and passing a post-offer background check. Hallmark generally does not provide employment sponsorship.
