The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to maintain and showcase Hallmark products, build relationships with retailer teams, and support seasonal work. The role includes servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores, and may occasionally involve working with other companies’ products at serviced stores. Day-to-day work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory inside and outside the Hallmark department. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communication, including reporting time, submitting feedback, and completing surveys. They are responsible for the full Hallmark product display at assigned stores and are expected to interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers. The position also supports seasonal demand around major holidays, with additional workdays and extended hours before and after holidays. Work may include holiday-day assignments, seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, inventory support, and department resets. Reset work may involve building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. Merchandisers may also support other team members in their territories. This is a part-time position with a variable workweek schedule, averaging 6–10 hours per week. Starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training includes live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Voluntary benefits are available to eligible part-time employees, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
