About The Position

The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to maintain and showcase Hallmark products, build relationships with store teams, and support seasonal resets and installations. The role involves servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores. On occasion, the merchandiser may work with other companies’ products in the stores served. Day-to-day work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark inventory and displays, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communication, and interacting professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Merchandisers are responsible for the Hallmark product display at their assigned stores. The position supports increased seasonal demand before and after major holidays. Additional workdays and extended hours may be scheduled, and work on certain holidays may be required. Merchandisers may also help teams build or install fixtures, relocate card departments or products, and reset card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evening or weekend work. The role may include supporting other merchandisers in their territories. This is a part-time position with a variable work-week schedule, averaging 10–15 hours per week. Starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
