About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. You will represent Hallmark, build relationships with store teams, optimize product placement, maintain inventory, and support seasonal resets and installations. You may occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores you service.

The role includes day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communications, and interacting professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Seasonal holiday periods may bring additional workdays and extended hours, and some holidays may require work on the holiday itself. You may also help teams install fixtures, relocate departments or products, and reset card sections. The schedule varies during the work week and averages 13–15 hours per week. Availability around major holidays and for seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside assigned Hallmark departments.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a mobile device for day-to-day work, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing surveys for required merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels.
• Support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed.
• Assist with building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Provide support to other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
• Work additional days or extended hours around seasonal holidays and, when required, on holidays or weekends.
