About The Position
The Cleveland Orchestra is looking for an energetic, service-minded individual to join our Hall Staff team at Severance Music Center. If you’re passionate about creating a clean and beautiful space and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
- A commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform cleaning and setup tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Comfort using radios and following written instructions.
- Experience and attention to detail with cleaning products and fine finishes.
- Flexibility to work afternoon schedule (starting from 2:00 – 3:00 pm) and weekends.
- CPR and AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Professional appearance and adherence to dress code.
Responsibilities
- Keep Severance Music Center sparkling — from lobbies to restrooms — with top-notch cleaning and upkeep.
- Handle trash removal and biohazard cleanups to maintain a safe, welcoming space.
- Set up and break down rooms for special events with precision and care.
- Move and deliver supplies, furniture, and materials without disrupting the magic.
- Support public and private events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and looks great.
