About The Position

This role involves overseeing and participating in pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks. The position requires performing various maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring life safety, and managing inventory of supplies and equipment. The Custodial role also includes groundskeeping duties and operating specialized cleaning machinery. Flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary. The individual will also assist other departments with event setup and teardown as needed.

Requirements

Knowledge and/or experience in groundskeeping, cutting grass, maintaining curb appeal.
Knowledge or ability to operate an extractor machine.
Ability to work on elevated areas including ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts.
Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, holidays as needed.

Experience in waxing.

Responsibilities

Oversee and participate with pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, washing, stripping, carpet cleaning, and window washing.
Assist in training new hires or subcontracted services in the proper use of equipment.
Enforce all policies and procedures of the facility.
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
Participate in execution of life safety or damage concerns or loss of property promptly to supervisor or manager.
Review daily assignments and special projects.
Inspect completed work to determine that it meets acceptable requirements.
Issue supplies and equipment.
Compile a list to order all necessary inventories of equipment and supplies.
Perform groundskeeping duties such as cutting grass and maintaining curb appeal.
Operate extractor machines.
Work on elevated areas including ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts.
Assist other Operations Department divisions to expedite set-up and teardown events.
Perform other duties assigned.
