About The Position

The Stylist provides hair services and treatments that improve guests’ well-being and enhance their club experience. Services may include haircuts, perms, coloring, highlighting, and foiling. The role delivers services and product recommendations intended to exceed guest expectations.

The Stylist provides individualized services, advises clients on products and style maintenance, and stays current on hair analysis, techniques, trends, and certifications. The role also promotes salon offerings and maintains work stations to salon standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of cosmetology school.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a stylist.
• Cosmetology license in the state where the work is performed.
• Ability to perform various types of hair services and treatments.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a stylist in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of Salon Biz software.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized hair services and treatments that meet clients’ needs and expectations.
• Educate clients about LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments to help them maintain their style.
• Serve as an expert in hair analysis and maintenance regimens while staying current in style and technique.
• Promote LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments.
• Remain current on certifications and new industry trends.
• Maintain work stations to salon standards.
