About The Position

The Part-Time Hair Stylist provides professional hair and beauty services within the resort’s salon while ensuring a luxury guest experience. The role includes guest consultations, service delivery, maintaining salon standards, and supporting overall spa operations. The position is part of the Spa team and reports to Spa & Wellness Management. The stylist contributes to the overall spa experience by providing personalized services and helping guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and well cared for. Success requires creativity, technical expertise, and a strong guest-focused mindset, along with high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service excellence. Requirements

Valid cosmetology license in any U.S. state; Florida licensure is preferred.
Current Business Tax Receipt License, if applicable.
At least 2 years of experience in a salon or spa environment; luxury experience is preferred.
Strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, and styling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong personal presentation and professionalism.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

Nice To Haves

Florida cosmetology license.
Experience in a luxury salon or spa.

Responsibilities

Provide hair services including blowouts, haircuts, coloring, and styling based on guest preferences.
Consult with guests, listen to their needs, and recommend appropriate services.
Create a welcoming, professional, and comfortable environment for guests.
Perform make-up services tailored to guest requests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of salon stations, equipment, and tools before and after each service.
Set up and break down workstations and ensure supplies and products are stocked.
Promote and recommend retail products used during treatments.
Use spa systems to manage appointments and guest information.
Communicate with leadership to maintain salon operations and inventory levels.
Support spa team members and assist with the overall guest experience when needed.
Follow sanitation, safety, and professional standards.
