Hair Stylist
About The Position
Bosley HairClub is seeking a Hair Stylist to provide personalized hair services and help clients feel confident and secure. Stylists work one-on-one with clients in private styling rooms and can build on an established client base. The role offers paid specialized training in HairClub solutions, products, and techniques, along with opportunities to develop through a Stylist Leveling Program and ongoing training. The starting rate is $19–$24 per hour, with uncapped styling and retail commissions and commissions on additional HairClub solutions. Average total earnings are approximately $60,000 annually, with top performers earning more than $80,000 before gratuities. The stated schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday and Monday closed; flexible options may be available depending on location. Requirements
- Current active cosmetology license valid in the state where the stylist will work.
- Strong cutting, coloring, consultation, and communication skills.
- A client-first mindset and confidence recommending products and solutions.
- Strong relationship-building and time-management skills.
- Professionalism, flexibility, and a desire to keep learning.
Responsibilities
- Provide cutting, coloring, styling, and hair-care services tailored to each client.
- Consult with clients to understand their goals and educate them about hair care, products, and HairClub solutions.
- Recommend products and services based on individual client needs.
- Build trusted, long-term client relationships and deliver an exceptional experience at every visit.
- Manage appointments effectively while maintaining a professional, welcoming environment.
