The position requires the ability to serve residents with varying mobility levels, including those who use wheelchairs or other mobility aids, and comfort in assisting clients who may need extra time, accommodations, or personalized care. Key attributes include patience, kindness, attentiveness, experience with clients facing mobility challenges or disabilities, and adaptability in services to meet individual resident needs.

Requirements

Active Pennsylvania Cosmetology License (required)
Flexible availability (weeknights not required), typical work day is 9am to 3pm
Strong customer service and communication skills
Compassion, patience, and professionalism-especially when working with senior clients
Ability to work independently while being a positive team player
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Experience working with clients who may have mobility challenges /or disabilities
Comfortable adapting services to meet individual resident needs.

Nice To Haves

Ability to provide services to residents with varying mobility levels, including those who use wheelchairs or other mobility aids
Comfortable assisting clients who may require additional time, accommodations or personalized care during salon services.

Conduct thoughtful consultations to understand client needs, preferences, and lifestyle considerations
Provide a variety of cosmetology services while maintaining high standards of quality and care
Build lasting relationships with clients through trust, consistency, and exceptional service
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in compliance with state regulations
Uphold a polished appearance and represents the Ciao Bella brand with pride and professionalism
Educate clients on services, maintenance, and product recommendations to enhance results
Assist with basic register transactions and salon software tasks as needed
Provide and maintain your own professional tools and supplies
Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continue growing your craft
