About The Position
Blo Blow Dry Bar is looking to add Red Carpet quality Hairstylists & Make Up artists to their team! We are looking for individuals who love styling, makeup, and all things beauty, and are reliable, positive, and team players. This is a great opportunity for both full-time and part-time stylists/MAU, whether you are fresh out of school or a seasoned professional. You can continue your existing cutting/coloring business while expanding your skill-set part-time with Blo. In addition to styling, you will have the opportunity to provide Make-up Services and get trained/certified for Extensions. We are passionate about education and invest in our stylists through extensive continuing education, skill development, and product knowledge. Our culture consists of a team of confident, kind, and talented stylists who love delivering elevated blowout experiences and take pride in making our bar the best in town. Requirements
- Weekend availability a must
- A passion for the beauty industry and making people feel better
- Hairdresser, Hair Stylist, stylist, Beauty Salon/ salon, Makeup Artist experience is an asset
Nice To Haves
- potential to be cross-trained on additional services such as makeup, or be promoted to shift leader, senior stylist or management roles
Responsibilities
- Collaborate well with team members in a fun, professional work environment
- Understand the importance of maintaining a squeaky-clean work environment
- Work one-on-one with our Chief Style Boss (aka Educator) to learn how to master Blo’s 7 signature styles and more!
- Participation in maintaining a professional, clean, fun and respectful work environment
- Participation in routine up-training and skill advancement
