As a Bridal Makeup Artist at Nirvana, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of brides, create beautiful and customized looks, and be part of a team that holds itself to an exceptional standard of artistry, service, and professionalism.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional makeup artistry experience, preferably with a strong background in bridal makeup
- A polished portfolio showcasing exceptional makeup work
- A strong eye for beauty, balance, and detail
- The ability to create a variety of looks while tailoring each application to the individual bride
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A warm, professional, and calming presence
- The ability to make clients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a wedding-day environment
- Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to creating an elevated guest experience
- Exceptional natural talent, a unique eye for beauty, and a portfolio that demonstrates their potential (for emerging artists)
Responsibilities
- Provide customized bridal makeup applications for weddings, trials, engagement sessions, and other special events
- Consult with brides to understand their vision, preferences, and desired aesthetic
- Create polished, long-lasting makeup looks that photograph beautifully while allowing each bride to feel like herself
- Help create a calm, positive, and memorable experience during what can be an emotional and fast-paced day
- Collaborate with Nirvana’s bridal hair and beauty team to create a seamless experience from start to finish
- Maintain a professional appearance and high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
- Build genuine relationships with clients and represent the Nirvana brand with warmth and professionalism
