About The Position
The Hair Assistant supports the hair services department by assisting providers, preparing patients, and ensuring smooth clinical flow. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in aesthetic medicine or hair restoration.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (medical assisting coursework a plus)
- Experience in dermatology, plastics, aesthetics, or salon/medical spa preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Organized, reliable, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn technical procedures and protocols
Responsibilities
- Room patients and assist with hair consultations
- Prepare patients for treatments and procedures
- Assist providers during hair services as directed
- Clean and reset treatment rooms between patients
- Manage supplies and restocking hair services
- Educate patients on home care products and regimens
- Support scheduling coordination for hair patients
- Maintain a welcoming, professional patient experience
