About The Position

Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is a salon for kids ages 0-14, and we are looking for happy, energetic stylists and barbers to join our fun team. We are on a mission to WOW our clients from the minute they arrive. Smiles and a positive attitude are a must, and we treat all our team members like family! If you are a happy, energetic, fun, and positive cosmetologist with barbering experience, Sharkey Cuts for Kids is looking to work with you! We provide our amazing stylists with the tools they need to foster an exciting and fun haircutting experience for everyone involved. Requirements

Must have active cosmetology or barber license in Oregon
1 - 3 years min experience with barbering
Must be able to work with all hair types
Must be able to cut kids and adult hair, especially boy's hair
Ability to multitask in a fun-filled, fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

Ability to work with special-needs kids is a plus!

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional client experience with high quality haircuts.
Listen and communicate clearly with clients to deliver the highest level of service.
Educate clients on retail products that are best suited for their needs.
Ability to work with kids.
Maintain cleanliness of the salon.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Experience in open and close salon duties.
Have positive attitude and thrive in a teamwork-centered environment.
Must have active cosmetology or barber license.
