About The Position

BAYADA is hiring part-time Habilitation Technicians in Burlington, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. The role provides one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build confidence, independence, and progress toward personal goals. Technicians support participation in community life, provide companionship and encouragement, assist with personal care, and transport clients to appointments and outings. The position offers multiple shifts, flexible part-time schedules, weekly pay, and work close to home.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; training may be available through an apprentice program for candidates without this experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship.
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible.
