About The Position

BAYADA is hiring part-time Habilitation Technicians in Burlington, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. The role provides one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build confidence, independence, and progress toward personal goals. Technicians support clients with community participation, companionship, personal care, and transportation. The position offers flexible schedules, multiple shifts, weekly pay of $15.00–$16.00 per hour, and the opportunity to work close to home.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities; training may be available through the apprentice program for candidates without this experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship.
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible.
