About The Position
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Gynecology Surgery for a locum tenens position. This role involves providing first assist support in the inpatient operating room setting across two facilities in Atlantic City and Pomona, New Jersey. The NP/PA will participate in robotic gynecological surgeries, collaborating directly with the supervising surgeon. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation in the Cerner/Oracle EMR system and adhering to all hospital privileging, compliance, and credentialing requirements. The coverage period is ASAP and ongoing, with a Monday-Friday, day shift schedule. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active NJ License
- BLS, ACLS, and ATLS or ATCN (AHA)
- First Assist Certification w/ Robot
- NPDB Self-Query report (pulled within 30 days)
