About The Position

High Lakes Gynecology, part of Praxis Health, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established gynecology practice in Bend, Oregon. This role is 100% gynecology, with no obstetrics, providing office-based evaluation and procedural care alongside our surgical gynecologists. The position is full-time and office-based, supporting a busy surgical gynecology practice. You will work with a collaborative team including physicians, experienced clinical support staff, and administrative staff. The practice has an established patient base with strong referral volume and offers a physician-led practice environment with clinical autonomy.

Requirements

Active NP or PA license in Oregon (or ability to obtain)
Certification as a Women's Health NP, FNP, or PA with demonstrated gynecology experience
Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
Current CPR/AED certification
Prior experience with colposcopy and office-based procedures
Comfort with IUD/Nexplanon placement and biopsy procedures from day one

Nice To Haves

Women's Health NP certification (if equivalent hands-on gyn experience as NP or PA is present)
Colposcopy training/certification

Responsibilities

Seeing patients independently and managing well woman exams
Evaluation and treatment of abnormal/irregular uterine bleeding
Management of PCOS and other menstrual disorders
Colposcopy and biopsy, including endometrial and vulvar biopsy
Hormone replacement therapy and menopausal symptom management
Contraceptive counseling and management, including IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal
Evaluation and treatment of STIs
Pessary fitting, removal, and cleaning
Urinary incontinence evaluation
Infertility counseling
Minor in-office procedures (e.g., polypectomy, skin tag excision, treatment of condyloma)
