About The Position
Carolina Heart Specialists is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established cardiology team in Lancaster, South Carolina. This is a full-time, outpatient cardiology position offering a Monday–Friday schedule with no call responsibilities. You’ll join a collaborative team of seven cardiologists and experienced clinical staff in a practice focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work alongside our cardiologists in the evaluation and ongoing management of patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- 2+ years of direct cardiology experience strongly preferred
- Active South Carolina license or ability to obtain licensure
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative cardiology team
Responsibilities
- Evaluating and managing established and new cardiology patients
- Performing comprehensive cardiovascular assessments
- Developing and coordinating treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Managing chronic cardiovascular conditions and follow-up care
- Reviewing diagnostic testing and clinical results
- Providing patient education and supporting continuity of care
- Collaborating closely with physicians and the clinical care team
