About The Position
Seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist for a Locum Tenens position in Lansing, MI. This inpatient role involves clinical duties and call coverage from January 1, 2027, ongoing. The schedule is Monday-Friday with a 1:4 call rotation for nights and weekends. Responsibilities include providing consultations, performing gynecologic surgical cases, discussing chemotherapy oversight, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team at a Level I trauma center.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Active Michigan Medical License
- Active DEA Certification
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Clean Record
- NPDB report
Responsibilities
- Provide gynecologic oncology consultations for clinic and inpatients
- Perform gynecologic surgical cases (OR) approximately 3-4 cases per day
- Participate in call rotation (1:4) including weekend coverage
- Discuss chemotherapy oversight with transitioning to medical oncology
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in a Level I trauma center
