About The Position

The Gymnastics Instructor introduces children to educational play in The Little Gym’s learning environment and teaches classes using its curriculum and teaching method. The instructor creates a warm, fun, and educational setting, supports children’s development and confidence, and provides outstanding customer service and membership experiences. Classes serve children from 4 months through 12 years in a clean, safe, and nurturing environment. Training is provided. The role involves being active and moving throughout the workday.

Requirements

Enjoy working with children and being active at work.
Be fun, outgoing, and able to play and engage with children.
Have a service-oriented attitude and enjoy making children and parents feel welcome.
Maintain a positive attitude while knowing when to focus on work.

Nice To Haves

Background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics.

Responsibilities

Teach classes using The Little Gym’s curriculum and teaching method.
Introduce children to educational play in a fun learning environment.
Create a warm, fun, educational, clean, safe, and nurturing environment for children in each class.
Treat each class and each child with care and enthusiasm every week.
Provide outstanding customer service and membership experiences.
Support children’s growth, development, confidence, and acquisition of new skills.
