About The Position
The Chester Family YMCA is seeking part-time, energetic, and experienced individuals to facilitate gymnastics classes for children in our gymnastics program. This part-time position offers a pay range between $15-$16 per hour.
Requirements
- Enjoy working with children.
- Have experience with basic gymnastics knowledge.
- Experience demonstrating appropriate spotting techniques and other skills.
- Ability to move equipment with assistance, up to approximately 100 pounds.
- Ability to spot (catch or lift) children of approximately 100 pounds.
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents.
- Physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation.
Nice To Haves
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are desired.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a successful, engaging, and fun program for gymnastics participants.
- Be available during the week and weekends for classes.
