Gymnastics Assistants - Competitive Team (Temporary/Multiple Vacancies)
About The Position
The Department of Parks & Recreation (DPR) is seeking Gymnastics Assistants for multiple temporary positions supporting instructors and working with children and adults in our Gymnastics Program. These roles assist with Competitive Team programs and help provide safe, fun, and high-quality gymnastics instruction to the Arlington County community. Our well-established program includes two USA Gymnastics member clubs, the Arlington Aerials and Arlington Tigers, offering Development Program Levels 3–10 and Xcel/Club Levels Silver–Diamond (Platinum for Tigers). Teams compete at the local, state, regional, and national levels under the guidance of experienced gymnastics instructors.
Requirements
- Thoroughly complete each section of the application, including prior job responsibilities, duties, and supplemental questions.
- Experience supporting instructors.
- Experience working with children and adults.
- Experience in gymnastics instruction.
- Knowledge of USA Gymnastics Development Program Levels 3-10 and Xcel/Club Levels Silver-Diamond (Platinum for Tigers).
