About The Position

Instruct and assist with preschool and youth gymnastics programs in a safe environment. Curriculum provided for part-time positions. Training provided prior to program start. Programs run September through May. Programs are held on Saturdays. Must be available to work 3 out of 4 Saturdays each month. No programs are held on holiday weekends.

Requirements

• Must be 14 years old by program start date
• Previous experience working with youth desired.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with gymnastics or dance experience desired, but will train

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and spot advancing gymnasts with tumbling and gymnastic skills based on age level.
• Lead and spot preschool students with basic movement and tumbling skills.
• Plan, organize and direct activities for all ages in a recreation setting.
• Provide support, as needed, for all participants and staff to create an inclusive environment.
• Work as part of a team to ensure quality programs for all ages.
• Follow staff policies and procedures.
• Ensure all staff and participants follow the established policies and procedures.
• Provide a safe, fun and appropriate experience of all participants.
