About The Position

The Midlothian Family YMCA is currently seeking part-time responsible individuals to oversee gymnasium services and activities. This role requires weeknight availability from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM and/or weekend availability from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Requirements

• Service-oriented, role model with a member-first attitude.
• Ability to recognize and respond to unsafe situations.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to use a computer, telephone, and related business equipment.
• Effective communication skills.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gymnasium services and activities.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Maintain gymnasium equipment and inventory.
• Set up and break down events.
• Maintain surveillance during games, activities, and member participation.
• Facilitate seating and set up for gym rental, as necessary.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with members and staff.
