About The Position

A The Little Gym “Gym Director” is a full-time, career level position, responsible for the overall operational performance of a The Little Gym of Falls Church, VA. The Gym Director reports directly to the owner and General Manager (s). For 50 years The Little Gym has set the standard for progressive motor-skill development, by providing children with a foundation of confidence through non-competitive, gymnastics-based programs. Our Parent/Child, Pre-K and Grade School classes are all taught in a fun, safe and nurturing environment, which encourages children to develop at their own pace.

Requirements

• Background in child development, physical education and/or gymnastics is required.
• Superior time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, managing and training staff
• Teaching classes
• Managing all day-to-day operations
• Maintaining the facility/equipment
• Providing outstanding customer service
• Selling the program to new and existing customers
• Driving and creating opportunities to drive revenue and sales
• Creating and coordinating retention efforts for members and staff
