About The Position

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Athletic Assistant assists members and ensures orderly and efficient operations at the fitness center and provides/communicates reports to managers of any incidents or issues at the Le Parc Gym/B2 Gym.

Requirements

• Emergency OR Standard First-Aid with CPR-C (REQUIRED)
• One or more years related experience in the fitness centre environment
• Aptitude for customer service.
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask.
• High School Diploma
• 2 Years Related Experience

Nice To Haves

• A recognized Personal Training certification is an asset(eg Can-Fit Pro PTS, CSEP-CPT, ISSA, NASM)

Responsibilities

• Liaison daily with managers to address all situations requiring immediate attention such as no shows or emergency issues requiring immediate interventions.
• Completes and provides daily reports to the Fitness Manager(s) regarding operations, tracking member attendance, customer service, and equipment issues.
• Acts as a resource person to patrons proving guidance and knowledge of the proper use of the fitness equipment.
• Assist in providing training of new staff.
• Ensure member safety compliance.
• Providing optimal member engagement and customer service.
• Administer reservations and equipment rentals.
• Ensure proper equipment cleaning.
