About The Position

Under direct supervision of the Field Foreman, a Gutter Installer will assist in the installation of gutters in single family new construction homes. Installations will be up to code and Villara’s exceptional quality standards.

• Must be F.P. Certified.
• Desire to work with hands and to be outside.
• Committed to arriving on time and ready to work.
• Committed to follow safety procedures.
• Appropriate time taken for rest and meal breaks.
• Use of personal cell phones for emergency or while on rest and meal breaks only.
• Self-leadership capabilities – the ability to lead yourself to meet your goals and those of the company.
• Ability to lead from within the team and to offer assistance and guidance to other team members.
• Lead in the development of your own career with the assistance of the Skills Matrix and Dozuki Standard Work App.
• Installers and Tradesman use a Field Skills Matrix to meet job goals and expectations – review with supervisor.
• All Villara employees are expected to work well with other team members, sub-contractors, and customers.
• Meeting deadlines as outlined by supervisor (bid times).

• No personal phone calls unless emergency.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Gutter experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs and prepare them for the gutter installation process.
• Measure and cut sheet metal by using hand and power tools.
• Use roof safety devices or fall protection gear (Self-Retracting Life Line).
• Fabricate the gutter parts as per the requirements.
• Move materials from delivery area to installation area.
• Clean up all debris on the job site.
• Exercise caution when operating or using tools and equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to Lean Principles including 5S.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Management.
