About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G650ER Captain for an operation at KVNY airport. The captain will join a team focused on safely and expertly meeting clients’ travel needs while following Solairus’ culture of safety, service, and integrity. The role requires on-call availability and a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KVNY, or willingness to relocate.

Requirements

• 3,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 PIC hours.
• 1,500 MEL hours.
• 500 MEL PIC hours.
• 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• 250 instrument hours.
• Type rating on the Gulfstream G650ER or comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KVNY or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Gulfstream G650ER safely.
• Conduct flights safely and prudently in accordance with applicable requirements, including reviewing the aircraft’s maintenance status; completing a pre-flight inspection under the approved Aircraft Flight Manual; checking weather and facilities along the route and at destination and alternate airports; following Solairus policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations; ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew; and accurately completing trip paperwork under current procedures.
